yahoo search box does not work

My yahoo search box always return a 404 error. When I go
to www.google.com it returns with something else. Any clue
on getting back to normal?

Ray, I too have a problem with searching; can't search

for anything. "Page cannot be displayed" message on ALL
searches. Using IE 6.0 and Yahoo and Win ME. Any help
out there.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
