Yahoo messenger is working but MSN Messenger is not working

I have window XP. My problem is that Yahoo messenger is working on my PC but MSN Messenger is not working. Messenger used to work with better sound then Yahoo Messenger. I have no idea wht Messenger has stopped to work.
Please, Help me and give me some advice.

Can you be more specific about what's happening in MSN Messenger? Is it just one paricular
feature that isn't working (like voice) and if so, are you just not able to connect, or can
your contact not hear you, etc.

Yahoo Messenger is a completely separate program from MSN Messenger, just because it works in
MSN Messenger, does not mean it will work in MSN Messenger.

Seems to be a common complaint with MSN Messenger. Yahoo, AOL and other
clients work 'out of the box' but you have to faff around with MSN and
Windows Messenger to get them fully working.
