Xxcel formula re Multi-Cell lookup - DIFFICULT

K, so I'm looking for help if anyone's able to spare a few mins. Wha
I've got is a spreadsheet with clients names and addresses, each clien
on a new row, different data (Name, Trading as etc,) entered in column
accross the sheet.

7 Columns in total, Name, Trading Name, Address1, Address2, Address3
Address4, Postcode.

The problem I'm having is to do with some of the addresses not havin
complete infomation, i.e. no trading as name.

I'm trying to do a lookup of the address, so it comes out like

Name
T/A
Add1
Add2
Add3
Add4
Postcode

and so on, but ignores any of the blank cells and returns the data fro
the cell below, so an address could be just

Name
Address1
Address2
Postcode

But, I'm finding it exceedingly difficult to do using IF functions.
know all about lookups, I can get it to lookup no probs, but, for eac
cell, the if's have to check all the other cells first, see where th
blanks are, then return the data accordingly. Is there an easier way
Or some add in formulas that can do what I'm trying to do?

Please let me know if i've not made myself clear.

Thank

Sorry, not sure of the etiquette, or if it matters, but just in case,
think I'm on the latest version of Excel

If the answer to this particular riddle lies in VBA, I'm willing to giv
that a go too
