hi,

i have 10 X235 servers ,with IBM Serve Raid-6i Scsi controller,20/40 GB
DDS/4, Raid5 on the harddisks.
They install the operating system windows2003 entrprise edition from cd
then they configure the devices.
when they try to make backup the blue screen appears then the system is halt.

we install for them windows2003 through the IBM startup cd which came with
the server ,we dont face this problem.

The problem with them that a third party install aplication on one srever
,they work a lot of time on it , so they can't do our procedure in that
server .
how can we help them to solve the problem

You could help us solve your problem if you can provide some more details on the blue screen error message.

My offhand guess would be that there is a difference in the version of a disk or SCSI RAID driver between what they're installing
and what you're installing. You can find this out by comparing device manager driver details for the various disk controller devices
on the two (working and non-working) configurations.

Backups stress the memory and disk systems and so any small driver flaws or hardware weaknesses are much more likely to show up at
that time.
