I noticed when I do a route print my local segment that I
am on has a metric of 20. In my w2k machines the route
print says my local segment has a metric of 1 (which
makes sense) anyone know what's going on?

Thanks

Allan:

The metric is the cost in hops for the route. If there are two possible
ways to get to a destination, the system should use the route
with the lowest cost. Otherwise, the specific value should not matter.

Mine has a value of 30.
