You've obviously downloaded and installed the MS XPS viewer utility. It's
not done via Windows Update AFAIK, so either you or someone else
deliberately downloaded it and installed it.
This comes with Windows Vista and can be downloaded for XP from MS website.
It is used for creating XML Paper Specification (XPS) Documents. From what I
understand this is similar to .pdf files, but using XML specifications
My B and W laser printer has been working perfectly for several years but I am asked to instal the driver every time the computer is booted up. Samsung have no further advice to give, they have been helpful.
I am so fed up I am thinking of getting a new laser printer or perhaps just disconnecting it and doing everything on my Canon MP810, to hell with the expense.
Has anyone a cure for this? If I was more software erudite I suppose I could nosey around the registry and do some tweaking, but a clumsy move can cause mayhem..
