XPHome workgroup problem

I am in need of an expert to give me help with a network problem with XP Home Edition. Two Dell computers, one new and one is 2 years old, both use XP Home Edition. I have them networked as a workgroup and each is sharing drives and folders, etc. The problem is that viewing each computers folders is only possible on Computer1. On computer1, using "Microsoft Windows Network" I can view and open all files on both computer 1 & 2. However on Computer2, in Micosoft Windows Network, I can view both computers (icons), but only open and access computer2. When I try and click on the icon for Computer1, there is an "Access Denied" and see the administrator type of message. There are only administrator accounts on both computers. On Computer1 there are two accounts "fran" and "rick" both are administrator accounts. On Computer2 there is one account "rick" which is an administrator account. Both computers have their built in firewalls disabled. Can any of you MCP's, MCSE's help me with this "simple" problem.
