XPE_Hibernate ...

Dear All,

My XPE runs with MinLogOn and My own shell. now in my application I called
the function "XPE_Hibernate(TRUE)", the return error is
"ERROR_SET_POWER_STATE_FAILED".

How can I make it success?

So far, I check the "Enable Hibernation" in my ACPI power management. What
else do I need?

Thanks for your consideration.

Hi Daniel -
Did you happen to remove any devices from the initial PMQ import? Are
there any devices which don't have drivers installed if you open up the
device manager? If there are any devices without drivers installed
(generally speaking) then that can disable Hibernation. XP Professional
works the same way. I would at least start there.

Hope this helps.

Happy holidays. :)

Daniel,

Also, make sure you've got "Disk Dump Drivers" component in your
configuration.
It is also sometimes helpful to check if the right video driver got
installed properly on runtime.
