Hello, All!

Using XP Pro, latest version of ZAF and Outlook 2003 with all updates.

Whenever I restart XP and then OL for the first time it opens and loads all
of the pst files in ~10 seconds. I then get the 'send/receive' notice in the
status bar and it takes from 45-90 seconds before it actually makes a
connect with my POP3.

I have found that the True Vector service is apparently causing this
slowdown. With ZAF s/d and the True Vector service uninstalled the load time
is about the same but the connect takes less than 5 seconds.

Anyone else have this problem? Any way to fix it?

Thanks.

With best regards, ColBlip. E-mail: (e-mail address removed)

You can try turning off the e-mail Protection service in Zone Alarm and see
if that helps
