XP won't load onto new machine (Fatal Error)

I just had "professionals" troubleshoot the components of
my new Athlon 2.5Ghz, 512MB ram, WD120GB Drive on a SOYO
KT600 Dragon motherboard. Their conclusion was that the
HD was bad and was replaced. Now I get a message as
follows when trying to load XP:

"Fatal Error:
Internal Setup data structures are corrupted (phase 0)"

Any suggestions or direction?

Hi,

Are you trying to do an unattended setup by any chance?

probaby they were wrong - maybe a motherboard or ram problem, possibly the
hdd CONTROLLER on the motherboard is the problem, which would LOOK like a
hdd problem.
