I have XP installed on a Toshiba Satellite
Laptop, "designed for XP". Everything's been fine until
recently when XP started acting funny. It's set up for
two users. If you add an icon to the desktop for a
particular user, the next time you open XP it's not
there. The same thing happens to IE6. If you change
your "Home" setting to anything, it defaults back to MSN
("Run once"). It's like you never set up anything on the
computer!
