XP won't boot -

Okay, so I copied the files into system32. The icons (My Pictures, My
Music, etc.) suddenly reappear (when I was in My Documents of XP) and
when I tried to boot XP, it didn't load any error messages.

However, this doens't solve much of a problem. It loads and it just
shows an XP logo. It looks exactly like a usual startup screen except
the cursor is larger, and there are no names. just the logo.

Yes, regarding booting from the XP CD... am I supposed to boot FROM the
XP CD?
