I am running w-xp Home Edition OS. Computer will not start
in Safe Mode. I get the Selection Menu and select "Safe
Mode", but computer just recycles back to the Selection
Menu.

Ok, I'm not sure what this "Selection Menu" is because I
never used it to boot in safe mode. Here's what I do to
get in safe mode: Hit 'Start' select 'Run...' then
type 'msconfig' in the box. A windows will pop-up
called "System Configuration Utility". Then select the
TAB called 'BOOT.INI' and check the box half-way down
called '/SAFEBOOT' then Appyl the changes and hit OK.
Then you have to restart and when you get into Windows
(to the desktop) it will ask you if you want to run in
safe mode so select yes. And when you done using safe
mode run 'msconfig' again and un-select the /SAFEBOOT box.
