XP w/Product key but no COA

Hey all,

We have a copy of XP Professional Upgrade w/SP2, along with the
product key stuck at the back of the card-like booklet it came in. We
have thrown out the box. This leaves me with 2 questions:

1. Can I get another COA? - From what I've read, this doesn't sound
possible.

2. Can I sell this copy of XP Professional upgrade with just the
product key and "proof of license" thing written at the back? Note, it
has never been used!

Thanks
Raj

Box ? - If the original product came with a Certificate of Authenticity
then it's an OEM version and most times doesn't come in a box. A
retail package of Windows XP wouldn't come with a COA label as
that's a requirement of OEM install(s) something not done for Retail.

You probably need to determine which product type you have, but
regardless if it's unused then reselling is possible.

Woohoo!!! I was kicking myself for throwing the boxes (I have 6 of
these we never implemented in our systems upgrade)

Now I can sell in peace =)

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
