xp vs. 2000 ip stack changes? - xp doesnt work.

Having issue with Outlook XP over vpn, getting the common "requesting data
from exchange server" issue. It works fine on Win2k, but not on WinXP sp1.
It's a home user, cable modem, linksys router [192.network], Cisco VPN.
Firmware upgrade may fix the issue, but I want to see if there is a tweak for
XP that will make this work just like 2k does. The perfect resource would be
a summary of tcp/ip changes from win2k to winxp. Any other ideas appreciated!

You will possibly get a better response if you just post the "error message"
you are getting, instead of a general statement "requesting data from
exchange server", as that is no error, it is a statement which happens
millions of times a day worldwide, and is perfectly normal - don't assume
those of us reading your post will be able to "fill in" the gaps you've
assumed we may know.
