XP User Accounts - Scheduled tasks

I'm running a computer with four user accounts (and four different
passwords). I also run Norton Anti Virus 2004 as a scheduled task. The task
won't run unless I put in the user name and password. But which one? If I
choose any one of the four accounts, does the computer need to be logged on
as that account holder for the software to run? So if at the time of the
scheduled task someone else happens to be logged on, does this mean the task
won't run? Is there a way around this so that Norton runs no matter who is
logged on?

My second question is, if I choose certain settings for Norton when user A
is logged in, do those settings apply to all other accounts so that I don't
need to replicate the settings when User B C & D log in?

This tech support article shows entering a password for each user.
It seems that you are scheduling a time and not a user.
You want to use a time when no users will be on the computer.
A full scan uses a lot of resources.
Leave the computer on when the task is supposed to run.

Settings should apply to all users.
A scan does the whole hard drive, not just one user.

As per the subject:

A scheduled task can be run without passwords:

For Pro: Start/Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Local Security
Policy/Local Policies/Security options. In the right hand pane (third down).

Accounts: Limit local account use of blank passwords to console logon only.
This is enabled by default, disable it.

For Home: Run Scheduled Task without a Password (Line 67)
