XP Upgrade Advisor Hangs

Attempting to upgrade ME to XP Home,Upgrade advisor hangs
up with CPU usage at 100%. Any Ideas

You most likely have incompatible hardware or software.
Uninstall and antivirus and DVD software.
Disconnect all peripherals (camera, printer, scanner etc.)
Uninstall/disconnect anything else that you suspect may be the cause.

The lateest version of advisor has been installed with no

change, still hangs at first bar of screen
