xp taskbar

starting today , when i open
" task mgr. " , there are no
options at the top of the window.
only the process pane shows .
no minimize and no X to close
out .
could someone how i might
correct this ?

all i had to do was double click
on the task mgr. border .

Doubleclick on the grey border of that window.
