XP Tablet edition and MS Office functionality?

Hi

We've just purchased a Toshiba Portege 3500 with Microsoft XP Tablet
Edition.

Please can you let us know what are the options to ensure full functionality
of Microsoft Office in tablet mode. i.e. the use of pen and ink function.

At present the company has standardised on Office 2000. We need to run
Excel, Access and Word in tablet mode.

Also, if Office 2003 is an option with Microsoft XP Tablet Edition, when
will it be released.

Thanks in advance for your help

To get support for TabletPC functionality in Office - you need to upgrade to
Office XP and install the Office XP Pack for TabletPC from
http://www.microsoft.com/office/tabletpc/
Their is even better support for TabletPC and ink in the forthcoming Office
2003 Editions. (we cannot discuss the release date)

The support for ink etc in Office 2000 will be extremely limited.
