XP Tablet Acer C102TI no network connection or internet

I installed sp2 on an Acer Tablet C102TI and after
resetting it would not connect to the network or internet,
would not get an IP address. Manually set an IP address
and it still would not connect or ping other
computers/router. Other computers have sp2 but can access
network and internet, they can also ping each other. Tried
disabling windows firewall, it still would not work.
Uninstalled Sp2 and everything work just fine.

It is possible that the TCP/IP filtering is the problem. Open the
connecton, TCP/IP properties, General tab, Advanced properties, Options
tab, TCP/IP filtering properties. Check Enable filtering, select Permit
All if Permit Only is set.

Not if they were smart, and also Microsoft says that the
hotpatch KB884020, which it did not help.
