Hello, I am trying to help a friend that has been opening
email without caring about the chance of a Virus
contaminating her computer. I have updated her XP system
from your update website but have found a file named
TFTP3540 in the startup folder that opens an error window
complaining that it can not open this file when the
computer is first started. I do not know the history of
this file and need your help to determine if the file is a
part of the Windows Xp operation system. Can you tell me
if the file named TFTP3540 is part of the Windows Xp
operating system and belongs in the startup folder.
Thanks Rich.

Try dragging the ftp file to the recycle bin and restarting. If you don't
get the error message, delete that file.
