XP Start up

I installed a scanner onto my PC running XPHome. Scanner
worked OK till I closed down. When a came to restart the
boot process gets to where you choose to boot 'safe' or
Normally... Whichever I choose the PC loops back to that
page... I tried to investigate using an XP 'Boot disk' I
cannot see the C: drive. I'm not sure if I'm using NTFS
or Fat or Fat32
Can anybody help...?

Hi,

If you can't see the drive with a boot floppy, it's probably NTFS. Have your
tried the option for "last known good configuration"? How about if you
detach the scanner?
