xp start up

One of norton's files got corrupted on my computer and I used the
norton removal tool to take it off of my system. The problem I now
have is this. Whenever I start my computer I get a "specified module
could not be found" error with no clue as to what the module is. Does
windowsXP log a startup file that will show me where the error occurs?

Hi,

Depending at what stage of the startup process this occurs ...

Go to Start => Run and type in "msconfig" {without the quotes}
Under the BOOT.INI tab check the box /BOOTLOG
Reboot and open the text file ntbtlog.txt located in your Windows
directory
There will be a number of items that fail to load - this is normal -
but you may be able to isolate the one that's giving the problem.
If this doesn't help, just uncheck the /BOOTLOG box

and/or

Go to Start => Run and type "eventvwr.msc" {without the quotes}
Maximize the window and, in the System folder, look for any errors at
the time you booted up.
