XP SP2 won't shut down

K

Kim Stahnke

After installing xp sp2 on a ibm laptop the machine won't shut down. It just
stays on but if I try to start a program it tells me that it is in the
process of shutting down. After waiting 5-10 minutes I pull the plug.
Otherwise the machine works fine.
What can be wrong?
OBS: This machine is not the same as the one in my previously post.
Regards,
Kim
