XP SP2 Professional File/Program Location

I have installed the Windows support tools and ran the pmon.exe. I found
several programs that when I checked them on Google are suspect for adware or
virus. The pcmon program does not give the location of the program just shows
that a program is running. When I do a desktop search the program location
does not come up. I then tried booting in safe mode and running pmon.exe but
the suspect programs are not found. My virus checker company want me to send
them the files but how do I find thier location when they do not come up
under a search? Is there another utility that shows the location of ALL
programs running?

Thanks,
Terry

Which processes are they? Suspect programs are just that "suspect" - they
may be innocent or they may be guilty.

The programs I am concerned about are: er.exe, ystray.exe, rch.exe, xer.exe,
and, as74da.exe.

Try Process Explorer from Microsoft.

Process Explorer is a great utility but still does not show all of the
processes running under the command pmon.exe. The processes I am looking for
are not listed in the process monitor. Any other suggestions greatly
appreciated!

Ok sorry that didn't do it. No I don't have anything else to suggest.
