XP SP1 install hangs/powers-off

Hello ...

Has anyone found that the SP1 install from the Feb 2004
Security Update CD hangs their system ?

We're trying to install on a Toshiba Sat 1800 with no
success. System constantly powers down mid-way through.

Did you check for an updated BIOs at Toshiba for your model? I had a similar
issue with a model close to yours and that corrected it.

The CD must have been bad ... we downloaded SP1 from
Microsoft's site and that installed fine first time.
