XP SLow Performance

The system has been getting painfully slow over time.

I have XP Home, a mostly full (85%) 20 GB drive with
Norton Internet Security and Antivirus installed.

I have defragmented the disk and cleaned it up but it
didn't help much.

Any ideas?
