XP Search

When I search for words contained in WordPerfect
documents, the windows search (on start menu) does not
identify them in the search results. I did not have this
problem in previous versions of Windows.

When your search window opens, click "More advanced options" (The double
chevron to its right).

Make sure the combo ("Type of file") says "All Files and Folders", and that
"Search subfolders" is switched on. You may also want to switch on "Search
system folders" (since Windows and Windows\System32 count as that), and
"Search hidden files and folders" (extreme cases).

Now try your search, and hopefully it will search fully.

It's a shame they didn't have "All" on by default in XP.
