XP Scheduler - more than once a day?

Can the built-in XP Scheduler (XP/Pro/SP2) schedule the same thing to be
run, e.g., every 10 minutes throughout the day with a starting and
ending time?

It certainly can. Just have a look at the advanced scheduling options.
