XP Restore

I have a XP Home system that is locked due to the product activation
period having expired.

The system has SP2 which means I cannot use the originals XP restore
disk to replace the OS and start over.

I tried reformatting by using a boot disk made in an XP PRO system
with FDISK.

FDISK doesn't work with XP.

HELP

go there and download a Win 98 boot disk
read the instructions for extracting to a floppy.
Boot with the floppy
format the drive XP is on...........you will lose everything on that drive
reinstall XP.............and this time activate the sucker!!
