xp restore discs dont work

can anyone tell me how to re load windows xp on my pc.when i put the restore
discs in the cd drive they will not run or load up.dont know much about
computers so step by step help would be really appreciated.want to re load it
because the computer used to belong to somebody else thanks dan

Contact those you bought the PC from.

restore disks are usually placed in the drive and then cold
booted. they auto-run.
