XP restarts setup when installing

When the XP Pro setup process finishes and reboots to
begin installation, it begins setup again instead of
beginning the installation. I've never had a problem
with this machine or this installation disk before.

Set the BIOS not to boot from the CD, but to boot from the
Hard Drive. Or just take the CD out and put it back in
after you see the Xp boot screen.

I had same problem. Bios has to be set to boot from CD

to start the setup, then on the first restart I went into
BIOS (by pressing <delete> on my MB, yours may be
different) and changed the settings to NOT boot from CD,
then exit BIOS and startup should continue normally
