XP resources low

Upon boot-up I get a dialogue box that says " INSUFFICIENT SYSTEM RESOURCES" "Your System Recources are extremely low. Gearbox may not function properly. Please increase free Hard Drive space or close other applications" I have an 80Gig hard drive with approx. 3.8Gig installed. What's up with that ?

Check your memory. Bad memory can be a part of the problem. Also, is your hardrive partitioned? If you have a 4GIG partition and it is trying to boot into this Drive then resources are scarce. If it is then move some files into the other Drive Letter. Hope this helps
