XP rdp to win2003 server

Can you set up an RDP connection from winxp to a win2003
server without using terminal services, just enable some
kind of rdp connection on the server?

On Windows 2003, right click your my computer, click
properties, then click on the remote tab. Put a check
mark in the box that asks you if you'd like others to be
able to logon to your server (sorry, I can't quite
remember the exact wording right now).
