XP random shutdowns

A few months after installing xp, my computer will suddenly reboot in the
middle of whatever I may happening to be doing. Can anyone help?

Right click on my computer and select properties,click on the advance tab,
under startup and recovery click on the settings button,next under the
heading system failure uncheck the box that says "automatically restart" and
ok your way out.

Ted, try rt clicking MyComputer>select Properties>Advanced>Startup and
Recovery-Settings>Uncheck Automatically Restart Box and click Ok, Apply, and
Ok. Next time this happens you may get an error message that would be
helpful if posted here.
