XP Professional and IE 7

I upgraded my XP Home Edition which I had loaded IE 7 Beta 2 with XP
Professional and now the IE 7 doesn't work. The instruction was to remove it
through the add/remove program in the control panel. I can't find the IE to
remove it. How can I remove it if I can't find it.

If you still have the folder $NTUninstallie7Beta2$ in the Windows folder
(hint, it's hidden) then you can use that. If it's now gone, then you'll
have to find someone else with that folder and ask them nicely to email it
to you.. or copy it from another PC with IE7B2 on it.

(Been there, done that... upgraded hubby's PC and did a Repair Installation,
and he hadn't told me he'd downloaded and installed IE7!!! Thankfully we
have 7 PCs in the household)

Once you've got this file, you can uninstall IE7, then reboot, and you
'should' be back to IE6. Then you can download and install IE7 all over
again.

Did you check the box "Show Updates"?
