Sight for telephone no. for microsoft manual product activation.
FYI I am central NY

I think that it my be related to that I tried to do this past Friday (see
below)

I also sent an earilier question under "error code 080090006" whch read

Can't boot up beyond initial desktop screen on my old drive (no incons or
programs loaded just the message --window licence for computer...error code
080090006) Can't get into "safe boot" or anything or other... Thought I had
successfully transformed information (using software from Seagate) from my
old boot drive to a new drive but the new drive loops back after it tries to
"verify...." So neither drives can get me up and running--now.

The phone#'s are regionally specific. When prompted to activate just choose
the phone option to get the correct number.

SORRY, THE KEYBOARD IS SCREWY AND I CAN’T TYPE IN LOWER CASE. I CAN'T GET UP
AND RUNNING... XP IS "BLOCKING" ME FROM BOOTING UP ALL THE WAY (SEE PREVIOUS
MESSAGE) AND BLOCKING MY KEYBOARD FROM EVEN REINSTALLING XP. THE ONLY THING
I CAN GET INTO IS THE RECOVERY CONSOLE.

Well, you can't activate from the Recovery Console, so you are going to have
to either repair install or clean install, and in either case you will have
to reactivate and can use the phone option at that point.

When this all started I had been transferring all the data (using software
from Seagate) from my old boot drive to a new drive. I made the MISTAKE of
doing a system restore just after this was completed.
On my old drive, can't boot up beyond initial desktop screen (no icons or
programs loaded just the message --window license for computer...error code
080090006)

Can't get into "safe boot", just get a blank screen.
Tried to do a reinstall BUTit seems certain keyboard commands are being
blocked and not available.
I can get into the recovery console but that is it.

THANX, BOB
