Hi,

My husband's notebook is running Windows XP Pro. We were away for a
couple of weeks and now that we are back, he cannot boot into Windows as
it won't recognize his password. He is using the correct one and we've
checked that the Caps are not on. He is the Administrator.

I would appreciate any help!

Thank you,

Gloria

log into The Administrator Account (not your husband's administrator-type
account) and change the user password.

I had unsuccessfully tried that. It is a mystery to me why his password
would not work. I finally fixed it following these instructions:

I had to install all the Windows updates again, but all seems to be
working ok. Was pretty nervous following those instructions!

Thank you!
