XP Pro SQL message

I have an XP Pro SR2 machine that got hit with spyware. After running
SpySweeper it now gets the following error during startup (prior ro the login
prompt): "SQL Server could not find the specified name instance
(MICROSOFTBCM) - please specify the name of an existing instance on the
invocation of sqlserver.exe"

SQL server isn't running on the PC.

Is there a fix for this, or should I reload?

Looks like you were running Outlook Business Contacts Manager.
This installs a version of SQL, knwon as MSDE onto the machine.

Suggest you ask in the group
microsoft.public.outlook.bcm
