XP Pro restarting just after Safe mode menu

And giving me

"An unexpected error (0) occurred at
line 1768 in d:\xpclient\base\boot\setup\arcdisc.c.

Press any key to continue."

When i try to Run the XP Pro disk as boot
 
Okie i tried to run the instal on a backup computer no problems there. tried to put an old hardrive into the new machine that had xp in and i had the same problem if anyone could suggest any solution to this (at the moment no matter how crazy) please help
