hi guys, im really stuck on this problem - since my last reboot the Os asks
me to hit ctrl alt delete before accessing the login panel. i am not using
the welcome screen, i am using the simple access panel (not sure of the name)

it requests to hit control alt delete for security purposes - and to ensure
only windows is getting my password.

thanks for your time, Costa

Click Start, Run and enter CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2. Go to the Advanced tab. Uncheck the box Require users to press CTRL-ALT-DEL............

If that doesn't solve your problem, or its greyed out, go to Start, Run and enter GPEDIT.MSC Go to Computer Configuration, Windows Settings, Security Settings, Local Policies, Security Options. Look in the right pane for Interactive Logon: Do not require CTRL-ALT-DEL. By default, this policy is set to Not Defined. If that's the case, then this is normal. If its set to Enabled, or Disabled, double click the entry and toggle it to the opposite state. A reboot may be required.

:( thanks much! i suppose i shouldve looked more thoroughly - the security
policies was the first thing i checked :( and it annoyed me for 2 Days -
Thanks Man
