XP Pro/IIS - Max number of web sites

Unlike on Windows 2000, my IIS Manager running on XP Pro
does not give me the option to create an new Web. It
only gives me the option to create a new Virtual
Directory.

Is this the expected behavior?

Yes, IIS 5.1 on XP Pro is just like IIS5.0 on Windows 2000 Pro. Limited to
10 simultaneous connections and a single website with multiple subwebs.

If you need unlimited connections and unlimited websites, you must use a
Server operating system like the Windows 2000 Server Family or the Windows
2003 Server family.
