XP Pro: how to remove "This computer is in use and has been locked" after remote desktop session?

microsoft.public.windowsxp.work_remotely:

I would like to use Remote Desktop to administer Windows XP Professional
machines remotely. The problem is that when I'm done, the dialog "This
computer is in use and has been locked" remains displayed on the remote
computer's monitor, thus confusing the user. How do I get the normal
Windows logon dialog to appear once I've disconnected?

TIA,

David

Don't disconnect - Log Off... (hit CTRL-ALT-END then select Logoff
from the Menu).
