Can XP Pro be setup as an intranet server?

I would like to be able to share files, intranet webpages and CRM software
such as zoho virtual office.

If anybody can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it

Short answer: Yes.

Caveats: Some software will refuse to operate on other than true "Server"
OSs. Don't know about "zoho virtual office". Also, running executables
remotely usually requires the program to be written specifically to allow
that, and simultaneous multiple users.

The answer is "maybe". It depends on how many workstations are accessing the
pseudo-server since XP Pro has an incoming concurrent connections
limitation of 10. That doesn't mean 10 computers; one computer can make
several connections to a server.

If you have more than 6 workstations, you should purchase a low-end server
instead. If the server will only act as a file server (including an
intranet webserver) and not run Windows programs, you can use Linux instead
of an MS server operating system. I'm not familiar with "zoho virtual
office" so you would need to contact the makers of that program for its
system requirements.

concurrent connections:

5 for XP Home
10 for XP Pro/Tablet/MCE
49 for SBS 2000
74 for SBS 2003
Unlimited for full Server O/Ses
