xp pro drivers are slow to load

When starting my PC the desktop loads up quickly but i
have to wait 2-3 minutes before my computer becomes
useable and all the drivers have loaded. I havent got a
huge number of devices that have to load up .

AMD Athlon 2600+
512 mb DDR RAM
Gf4 MX440 64mb
60gb HD
