I wanted to reinstall Windows XP Pro here in work; the machine has a C:
drive and D: drive, where I normally install only on C.
When I booted up the machine with the CD, the normally process
happened, except for where I'm prompted to select which drive to
install to, or if I want to perform a format. Instead, the boot disk
simply went ahead and copied setup files to the machine, rebooted, and
installed XP. To the D drive, as it turns out, so now there's 2 copies
of Windows.
I tried to install XP Pro a second time, and the same thing happened;
I'm still not prompted to select a drive/perform a format.
Anyone know what on earth could be happening?
Thanks,
