XP Pro cannot detect drive letter for 2nd hard drive

Hi,

I did a clean install of Win XP Pro. My PC has 2 internal
hard drives. However, in My Computer, only one drive
letter shows up. When I go to system devices, I can see
that both hard drives drivers are installed. But still I
cannot view it in My Computer. I tried uninstalled the
driver and restart. The OS did detect the new hardware,
but still I cannot view the drive letter. How can I fix
this problem. Thanks.

make sure both physical drives are formatted.

Go to start, control panel, administrative tools,
computer management and disk management and see if the
drive shows up at all. If not, it likely is a
jumpering/configuration problem.
