Hello,

I already have checked all IP addresses, and they all match other machines on

Hello Chuck

when I do "ipconfig /all" everything is the same as other computers except
the IP address. the laptop is in the same phisical location as other
computer, as was able to join the domain with other computer at the same time
the laptop failed.
I moved the laptop to other location in the office, it did not help.

thanks

And if you swap network connections with another computer?

All things being equal, any computer should be identical to any other. So how
do we find the difference?

Hello Chuck,

I got it fixed, well, the network if configured for both DHCP and static
IPs, two different scopes. the laptop was set for DHCP, I was not able to
join it to the domain, this afternoon, I changed the IP to static, along with
DNS. then I was able to join it to the domain, I still can not figure out why?
Thanks so much for you help.
