XP Pro backup

Does anyone have any experience of scheduling Backups using MS Backup on XP
Pro? I've tried this a few times now. I'm using an external Seagate Backup
Drive and scheduling the backup to run when I'm out of the office. I don't
lock the workstation and I've set the backup to wake the computer out of
hibernation, should it go into powersave state, and yet when I come back to
the PC, there is no report to say anything happened?

The XP MS Backup is very limited. You should look at a third party software
which will also handle the scheduling. Backup MyPC by Stomp works quite
well in XP. It was originally known as Backup EXEC when it was part of
Seagate Software/Veritas.
