i have two comps desktop and laptop both running windows
xp pro, i am networking them using crossover cable direct,
everything seems fine and no probs seeing each other but
when i try to access the desktop comp (sorry also sharing
internet connection through desktop)it says access denied
u donot have permission see server administrator, internet
is accessible and there are no restrictions from desktop
to laptop
there are no firewalls at all active on either comp and
there are active share files on both comps
i had them working ok until i upgraded laptop to xp from
98se dont know if this is problem but ive been to at least
20 different sites and cant find a solution any help would
be greatly appreciated thanx in advance
please e-mail me with any suggestions

Why are you using Simple File Sharing? Try disabling that
and see what
happens.
Good luck
